Gottrons sign refers to a scaly and erythematous dermatitis seen on the dorsum of the hand, over the metacarpophalangeal and proximal interphalangeal joints. The rash of psoriasis consists of scaly patches on the extensor sufaces (eg, knees and elbows). If the hands are involved, nail pitting is usually present. V-sign refers to a macular erythema occurring on the anterior chest and neck.
